Prayer needs of the Rossendale Team

Rossendale Team Prayers Summer 2025

Holy Trinity with St Saviour and Christ Church with St John

 Pray for both churches as they continue to
worship together at ABD and especially for
Christ Church as they move away from
Central Methodist when the sharing
agreement ends at the end of September.
 Pray for the ongoing processes as the
possible closure of the Holy Trinity church
building continues to be consulted upon.
 Pray for the August picnic for Living Room
families and the Jumble Sale – that these
two outreach events would lead to new
relationships being developed and deepen
existing relationships within our community.
 Pray for the vision of holding an act of
worship in Holy Trinity school, particularly for
the Spirit's guidance and wisdom in
discerning what this may look like.

St Mary & All Saints Goodshaw

 Pray for our asylum-seeking friend, Ali, as he has had his asylum application rejected. He
fears the death penalty, if he is sent back to
Iraq. Pray that we find him the legal
assistance he needs for his appeal, and that
God’s will be done, whatever the ultimate
outcome.
 Pray for the events we organise for children
and young families (Little Angels and Messy
Church). Pray that these may attract more
people to come into the church and find
Jesus among us.
 Pray for our church finances in the face of the significant repairs we need to make to the
fabric of the building. Pray also that the
faculty process may be swift and successful.

St Nicholas, Newchurch

 Giving thanks for new people coming to our
church.
 That our work with children, families and
young adults may flourish.

numerically.

under going training over the next few

at our monthly quiz and pray that this
successful outreach will continue.

Bartholomew’s Heritage Day being

St Anne, Edgeside
